This article by Tony Bates looks not just at 2014, but where we might be five to ten years from now. He assert, in 2020, people won’t be talking about online learning as such. It will be so integrated with teaching and learning that it will be like talking today about whether we should use classrooms. From his vast experience in this field, Tony also identifies the key decisions about online learning that students, faculty, administrators and government will need to address in the near future.
