Digital preservation policy framework: a case study

The Ohio State University Libraries created an organisational policy for digital preservation to address the policy development process and its importance to an organisation, and to provide an outline of repeatable best practices.  By developing and adopting a policy, set of best practices, and standards, a university or library does not need to wait for an out-of-the-box solution, instead taking incremental steps to provide a better digital preservation environment.
