
The purpose of the literature review was to identify existing approaches to evaluating the impact of one laptop per child (OLPC) programs around the world. The review was intended to identify what evaluations have been done,
what methodologies were employed, who has conducted them, and what the findings have been. It was hoped the review would identify how „evaluation‟ is understood in different jurisdictions, the nature of the evidence used to measure impact, and what constitutes „success‟.
