This UNICEF commissioned report presents the finding of a review of case studies and experiences that illustrate the potential and challenges of ICTs in advancing the rights of girls, and facilitating their engagement and participation for social transformation. This paper highlights examples of existing Communication for Development programming enhanced by the use of ICT tools. The authors look at the advantages and risks of utilizing ICTs in the context of programming for and with marginalized adolescent girls.
