
In this paper the authors discuss the current version of Moodle 2 for a First Year Mathematics module for student Technology teachers, explaining the reasons for incorporating the elements they have used. They discuss the journey from Moodle 1.9 to 2.3, reflecting on the amount of time needed to set up a course such as this and explaining the decisions taken. In addition, they describe the quiz tool in detail, to provide readers with a review of the benefits of implementing this tool.
