Transforming K–12 rural education through blended learning: teacher perspectives

This qualitative study was developed to investigate and share the perspectives of rural educators transitioning to blended learning and paints a powerful picture of the effects new learning models have on teachers, students, and expanding learning environments. A theme of transformation runs throughout this work—transformed engagement, transformed roles for both teacher and student, transformed expectations for learning, transformed use of time and place.
