A recently published research article on developing and sustaining learning communities has addressed some issues relevant to the process of transforming pedagogy through the use of collaboration. The researchers who authored the article have extensive research experience in the use of mobile technologies designed for educational learning activities. The article outlines a very useful and practical framework for developing and maintaining a community of practice using mobile social media. The authors have developed a compelling collaborative teaching method that post-compulsory educators have been attempting to design for some time.
