Finding educational reports

Material that is not commercially produced by a publisher is referred to as grey literature. In Australia at present, there is a vast body of documentation relating to national education policies on subjects such as national curriculum, national teaching standards, school improvement, learning with digital technologies, teacher preparation, and student assessment and reporting. A general concern for educators is how to find the relevant information quickly and to be assured that the information being accessed is the most recent. Further, over time, these documents may be replaced, deleted, or simply lost due to a disregard for document archiving and preservation which has become prevalent in the digital era. DERN reviews recent and ongoing research that addresses these issues.
