The Easter break in Australia was a great time to catch up on some reading. While reading a recent OECD report, I recalled an excellent piece of research commissioned by the US Department of Education that was done with SRI International and published late last year. The report, Evaluation of Evidence-Based Practices in Online Learning: A Meta-Analysis and Review of Online Learning Studies noted the findings of a range of empirical studies undertaken between 1996 and 2008.
