The main objective of this report is to provide policy-makers with a comprehensive evaluation of the implementation of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) commitments, and in particular the WSIS targets. It emphasises the importance of ICTs for development, and the need to track these. The report highlights the lessons learnt from the WSIS monitoring process and provides input to the debate on the post-2015 agenda, including discussion of possible targets and future indicators.
