This is the evaluation report of Project K-Nect, developed by Digital Millennial Consulting and funded in part through Qualcomm’s Wireless Reach initiative which was designed to increase student achievement in math and close the digital disconnect for students in Onslow County Schools in North Carolina.

The 2011 E-learning Benchmarking Survey focused on how technology is used by vocational education and training (VET) students in their training. More than 6,000 students from 250 different registered training organisations (RTOs) responded to the survey.

This article explores children’s computer and internet use, their online activities and whether they are safe online and protected from security threats. Homes are an important place for children to access computers and the internet. In 2008–09, home IT access continued to be significantly higher for households with children (aged less than 15 years) than households without children.

This paper presents a holistic analysis that quantifies the full set of resources employed to monetize spam email—including naming, hosting, payment and fulfillment—using extensive measurements of three months of diverse spam data, broad crawling of naming and hosting infrastructures, and over 100 purchases from spam-advertised sites.
